What to Expect: Fedex Ship to School Pickup

Everything you need to know for Fedex pickups

You created your shipping account and now you're waiting on a Fedex pickup; but how should you prepare? 

We want your Fedex pickup to go as smoothly as possible. In the days leading up to the pickup you should run through this checklist: 

  • Confirm the date of your Fedex pickup; will you be available? If not, change the date online or contact us at 781-932-1113 for other options. 
    • Fedex pickups typically run any time between 10am-6pm (the time frame can vary throughout different parts of the U. S.)
  • All items you're shipping should be in a box, suitcase or trunk.
  • Your shipping items should not exceed a weight of 60lbs. 
  • Your trunk, box, or suitcase should be properly packed and taped. 
  • Make sure each item has been added in your account, this is the only way to label your items.
  • Each shipping  item should have a unique label securely attached.
  • The day before pickup check your account to find the Fedex pickup confirmation number.
  • On the day of pickup be sure your boxes are accessible for an easy transfer to Fedex.

If for any reason you are not available when Fedex arrives for pickup you can drop your items off at the nearest Fedex location OR you can give us a call at 781-932-1113 so we can figure out the best option for you. 

Once your items have been picked up and shipped the card on your account will be charged AND you will be able to track your items with the tracking number that you can find in your account. You will be able to see the estimated arrival date for your items when the labels have been scanned by Fedex.
